DVN is one of the funniest - and most outrageous vocal groups - we carry! This CD continues their growing tradition of singing about taboos and just plain strange stuff. The song that is most famously wild and wooly is "Enormous Penis," which has received a bit of airplay. The boys also sing about "Internet Porn" and reggae in "Me Pants Fall Down." Opener "The Gates" will appeal to everyone who's ever had a Windows computer crash (new lyrics sung to traditional "The Fox" - very funny!). Occasionally insturments appear, often to humorous effect - the strings and drums on "I Wish I Were" lull you while the lyrics veer off into the unexpected. Producer Richard Greene (of the Bobs) not only brings out their best, he contributes original "The Big Chair" plus some deep vocals. DVN fans, rejoice! The Brontosaurs cometh! (2002)
