The five-song EP by 4:2:Five is a taste of great things to come, we're quite sure! It's high-energy, well-produced, appealing pop - and that's no surprise, when you find out the CD is produced by Rockapella's Jeff Thacher. "Why Do You" sounds a little like a young Ball in the House, "Look At Me" is reminiscent of Boyz Nite Out meets Rockapella of the mid '90s, and we'd swear that was Scott Leonard singing "You Gotta Know." With influences like these, you know 4:2:Five is just going to get even better. Comprised entirely of originals, this is a disc well worth collecting - that way, when they're big and famous, you can show everyone you've been a fan since the initial EP. (16:19 2001)
