1. What information does A-Cappella.com collect? How do we use it?
When you order from us, we need to know your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. This will let us process and mail your order and notify you of your order status, especially if there are problems with your order. Also, we monitor customer traffic on our web site to help us improve the design and layout of the online store. If you have purchased from our store or requested our catalog, you may occasionally receive an email update regarding special opportunities. You will always have the option to remove your name from that email list.
2. Does A-Cappella.com use cookies?
Currently, our uses "session cookies", which are only in effect as long as you have your browser open (aka a "session"). Once your browser closes, the cookies are removed. If your internet security settings are set too high, our site may not function properly for you. A setting of "Medium" usually works for most people. 3. With whom does A-Cappella.com share information?
A-Cappella.com does not sell, trade, or rent your mailing address, email address or other personal information to others, with the exception of our affiliated companies - the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and Contemporary A Cappella Publishing (CAP). In addition, A-Cappella.com from time to time may use its mailing list for special product promotions in conjunction with providers of a cappella products. A-Cappella.com may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales and website-related information to reputable third parties, but these statistics will not include information which may be used to identify specific individuals.
Also, A-Cappella.com may release personal information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of A-Cappella.com, our users, or others.
4. How does A-Cappella.com protect customer information?
When you place orders we offer the use of a secure server. Communication with the secure server uses industry-standard, SSL (secure socket layer) encryption to encode all information you input before it is sent to us. As well, all of the customer and credit card data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
Unfortunately, no Internet transmissions can be guaranteed 100% secure. So while we work hard to protect your personal information, A-Cappella.com cannot ensure absolutely or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. You always have the option to telephone, fax or email your credit card information to us.

Q: Is my credit card information secure on your site?

Q: Does your site store my credit card information?
A: No. For security reasons, our site will not store your sensitive credit card information. You are required to re-enter your card number and expiration date each time you order.
However, if you are an established account holder, our site will store your billing and shipping addresses so you won't have to manually re-enter these each time you order (unless that information changes).
